Steven Lawrence Hallstein

Steven Lawrence Hallstein, 67, passed away on February 22, 2024. Steve was born on August 22, 1956, in Albany, NY. He grew up in Levittown, NY. In 1966, he and his family relocated to Savannah. Steve is a proud Navy veteran. After being medically discharged, he worked at Grumman (Gulfstream) before he began his construction career until he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Hallstein and his brother Mark Hallstein.

Steve leaves behind his loving wife,Teresa Hallstein, brothers, William Hallstein and Scott Hallstein. Steve never had children himself but is thankful for his four stepchildren that he loved as his own, Cathy (David) Wilhelm, Denise (Danny) Hovater, Gregory Zupfer, and Joy (Anthony) Angeloff. Steve also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family of Steve would like to thank Savannah Post Acute for the care they showed him. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00p.m, Friday, March 1, 2024,at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, celebrated by Fr. Gabe Cummings.
